IWDK Virtual Stages

This year Internet Week Denmark will be held completely online. We are right now on our way to develop a brand new Virtual Experience that will feature a dynamic interpretation of the future festival that you can experience from home. We cannot provide a 1:1 festival feeling in your office chair, but we can offer an immersive, digital and collaborative experience, where you can tune in on high quality tech events all week – delivered from digital frontrunners.

Check out the program here or read on in the following section about what happens on each stage.

Trust & Tech Stage

This is where you get to dive deep into 4 tech summits – broadcastet directly from Aarhus City Hall. Each of them revolves around this year’s theme ‘Trust & Tech’. Trust is a substantial part of the Danish culture, so how do we implement it in tech? We give the stage to highly professional people working with different fields of tech, and take you on a diverse journey along the week.

Big Ideas Stage

This is where you go under the skin of organizations and people with big ideas, or brave ambitions, about the world of tech. This is where we shake up the everyday company presentations and provide you with new people and new thoughts. This is delivered from a professional production with venue, stage, equipment and production crew to make every event shine. It is required to be partner, or become a partner, to apply for this stage.

Community Stage

This is where you are accessed to the community that is the bread and butter of IWDK. At this Community Stage anyone can host a webinar, and that’s why organizations all over Denmark (possibly all over the globe) can contribute to IWDK. We simply facilitate a stream of continuous webinars – that offers a niche perspective on tech. Create your own event here.

Each day has one or two main themes so you can tune in on the exact topic you would like to explore.

Kids’ Tech & Gaming Stage

This is where our partner, Centre for Digital Youth Care, addresses kids, youngsters, their parents and all curious minds. The stage will mainly revolve around Gaming and E-sports with the intention of bringing young people’s voices forward and enlightening parents. Events here can also be used for educational purposes in primary school.
