Did you know that anybody can become an event organizer during IWDK? Yes, you heard that right. This year’s IWDK is just around the corner and we are excited to announce that we will open our website for event upload on January 28. If you are still hesitating, just know that IWDK is an amazing platform to create various events. We highly encourage you to do so, as it is a great way to make an impact in today’s world. Presentations, workshops or talks will educate and inspire everybody, including businesses and citizens. To make it as easy as possible for you, we have gathered a few tips of what you need to make your event upload successful.
The title of your event should be short and catchy. Make sure it matches the content of your event, but make it interesting enough to spark the reader’s curiosity.
A great picture
Nowadays, it is all about the visuals, so it is crucial to upload a picture that resonates with your event and attracts attention of the readers. Make sure it is in high resolution and fits within 1450 x 720 px. There should not be any text on the bottom of the image, as there will be a text overlay automatically.
Now you have the chance to provide the readers with a short description of your event. You can mention the topics that will be addressed during your event, the main speakers or what the participant gets from attending your event. Make it intriguing but do not oversell the product.
To avoid any future misunderstandings, the following points must be clearly stated in your uploaded event – date, venue, location and language. This way you make sure the participants have a clear idea of when and where to go. Also, we would like to mention that you can always go back and add or edit information of your uploaded event, in case there are any changes.
We hope these tips will be helpful when uploading your event and we are looking forward to seeing your events on our website.
