Call for IWDK21-Volunteers

By Nicolai Fast Sørensen

Do you want to join the leading digital festival In Denmark? Become a volunteer!

It’s simply a fact that a festival can’t exist without a team of great volunteers. This year’s festival from 4-9 May is no exception, and for IWDK21, we are searching for volunteers who can help us succeed in both physical events in Aarhus and Online.

With the addition of the new streaming platform, you can gain first-hand experience in event planning and content production. Even though being a volunteer is unpaid, we are confident you will walk away with new skills, experiences, and valuable friendships.

As a volunteer, your role will include these tasks:

  • Make our festival participants feel welcome, guide them to their destination and answer any question they might have
  • Make Event Organizers and Speakers feel welcome and help with any request
  • Help with ad hoc errands
  • In general, be the public face of IWDK21
  • Participate in a workshop where you will get to know all of the other volunteers and

Choose between the task of being a host or a part of our Technician Team. It you choose to volunteer as a technician, you will get proper training, but we prefer if you are a bit experienced in advance.

The festival will succeed in line with the latest Covid19-restrictions, and we’ll make sure you feel safe and have the right equipment at your disposal. A matter that is most important to us, and we really hope you want to join our volunteer community.

If you would like to join IWDK, we invite you to fill out this form, and Malene Vedersø, our head of volunteers will contact you. If you have further questions, please contact us at info@internetweekdenmark.com.

We wish you welcome to the IWDK-family!
